2003
It seems like yesterday when, at 19 years old, I left a city in Southern Italy and moved to Tuscany to study and graduate in Aerospace Engineering.
My thesis was published in an international congress thanks to the important developments made by my study on precision gears. In the early years of my profession, I quickly became a prominent name on the world stage, despite my youth compared to my colleagues.

2004
At 31 years old, I went to Florence to work in an aerospace industry founded in the 70s as an alternative to a historic Florentine company of clocks and precision instruments for marine uses.
During those years, I had the opportunity to appreciate the most advanced technologies of optical human-machine interface and the human factor in the unique reading and interpretation of avionic control instruments.
2008
After starting to work in the aerospace industry, I won a national competition for a Ph.D. position in Mechanical Engineering on the study of precision gears.
2011
Later on, as CEO of an avionics maintenance company, I understood the technological complexity of aeronautical navigation instruments that combined in a single object all my acquired professional background. Instruments in which complex mechanics and unambiguous information, if not correctly displayed to the pilot, can produce catastrophic effects on flight safety.
2018
In 2018, we were asked to design and produce a chronograph watch for a future astronaut who would carry out a suborbital mission. The watch had to function without gravity, withstand the extreme conditions of space, and provide accurate information.
We carefully studied the necessary technical characteristics, created a prototype, and successfully passed numerous tests. From this world, from this journey of mine, my dreams and ideas materialize.
2021
And it was precisely in 2021 that I decided to dedicate myself completely to my passion, namely the world of watches.
Thus, I created the brand Nazareno Rossetti, with the aim of making my ideas and passion for engineering accessible to everyone. Our first real collection, called FOMALHAUT.
